Who sells 90mm exhaust tips?
Im looking for 90mm stainless exhaust tips to replace my damaged OEM tips. I would prefer something with a flat edge instead of the rolled OEM-type edge, but either would be fine.
Something like the Eisenmann, SuperSprint, or Remus tips would be great. Eisenmann is the only company that sells the tips separately, but im not paying $350 for tips. Last edited by oldaccount; 12-30-2007 at 06:15 PM.. |

Funny you just started this thread. I have also been interested in buying some larger mm tips. So the Eisenmann's are $350 for tips?

Just looked on Eisenmann's site and it said the Premium (Heat baked) dry carbon fiber tips are $198 So does that mean you can buy them separate? If so, these tips are sick!!

Those tips are pretty sick, but I dont know if theyre $198-sick. Plus, I dont have any CF on my car anywhere, so they wouldnt really flow. For someone with a lot of CF, I could see spending $198 for them.

i don't know if you guys are leasing your cars but if you are and you are planning to cut and weld new tips,
it might be a real PITA to reweld the stock tips on because there's really not much length to work with on the outlets coming out of the mufflers. Also since the exhaust valve is located on the tip portion, this may further complicate future welding. My stock exhaust was recently rewelded after i dumped my Drony AA catback and seeing how that was a big PITA i'm a little weary of hacking it up again. My car is paid for but still when i sell it i want it to look 100% for resale value purposes. But if one of you guys does it first, go ahead i'm curious since i already wasted too much on this whole exhaust thing already.

I own mine. Not too worried about tips affecting resale. My valve is already open, so if it comes off, no biggie.
Of course, I would prefer to keep the stock tips, but I dented them, so they gots to go. |
