Smartphone Integration 6NF Questions
I know this topic has been discussed before and I read through the 6NF Smartphone Integration thread but still can't find a conclusive answer to my question. I have a '10 335i with iDrive and Smartphone Integration. My car did not come with a cradle to put my iPhone 3GS into however there is dock in my car so my understanding is I just need the adapter. Where can i get this part and will the 3G adapter work for the 3GS? Also if I have this adapter and put my phone in the cradle can I turn bluetooth off or does the car still use it for calls?
Thanks |

You can get one from a dealer.
The one for 3G is compatible with 3GS. You do need BT for the phone hands-free functionality, even when the phone is in the cradle. Best, |

Ah thanks, the fact that I have to leave BT on was not the answer I was hoping for. I think I'll save the hundred dollars and stick with the ipod hookup for now.
