download the invoice pricing.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347070

price it out at invoice using the ED price, then add $500 and tell the dealer this is what you expect to pay and since its ED if they raise a stink tell um you can go deal with any other dealership in the country, if they don't want to make $500 then another dealership will.

On a new 2011 335is deal, my dealer is trying to charge me $200 for nitrogen. Is this a bogus charge? Doesn't the car come from Germany with nitrogen already in the tires? I don't remember seeing any nitrogen charges for any of my previous BMW's that I purchased that had nitrogen in the tires (blue valve stem caps). And even if BMW Corporate just decided to start charging for this, a whopping $200 for this seems rediculous!

Yes, currently a customer can participate in both the BMW European Delivery program and the BMW Performance Center Delivery program with the same ordered vehicle. Please note this is subject to change without notice based on delivery availability at the BWM Performance Center. Due to the uncertainty of shipping times and Custom's processing, a Performance Center Delivery date can not be assigned for European re-delivery vehicles until they have a firm ETA...."

Well, i currently own a 3 series. And, after alot of research i have made up my mind, and i am going to go with the 335is.

To get to the point, i know, very little about ED (European delivery) all i know is that i can save money. So, below are the options i am considering.

Base Price =49,000

Dct=1575.00

Metallic Paint= 550.00

Leather Seats=1450.00

Premium Sound= 875.00

19'' Wheels=1000.00

Then handling Destination = 875.00

So it will equal roughly... 55,325.00

So now fellas, what do you advise me too do, to get the lowest price possible, so that i do not end up paying the full msrp?????

How would you all go about this, steps wise .. Thanks
Invoice: Euro Delivery
42480
TC 1435
2MP 910
688 795
LC 1320
Dest 875

total 47815

Dealer should be happy with 48900

If not, we can recommend dealers that are. IMO it is usually in your best interest to deal with your local dealer. You want those guys on your side. Long term relationships are valued. That said, once the sale is done, you are largely in the graces of the service dept. so bring them a 6-pack of some good bier, or some momento back from your trip. And a photo for the CA of you with your new car in Germany, or at the Welt.

For USA delivery Base = 45680, + 200 training fee, so add 3400 (total = 51215, try for 52500 if dealer allocations are tight)

Hey I just wanna confirm that dealers are now accepting orders for the coupe version of the car for June delivery?

Last week I went to the dealer and the SA didn't even know what the 335is was and kept referring to the 335i. Checked out the forums with the order guides and stuff and wanna go back at the end of this week to place the order in....

As of last Friday, my dealer still could not place the order. I saw in one of the BMW bulletins for the 335is that it will be open for orders starting the first week of March.

I love how guys can sell cars and claim to know everything about um but you get a guy who's active on these forums and they can tell you more about the cars (or whats coming on the new ones) than the CA's at the dealership can.

Were you able to negotiate the pricing/options for the car or did the dealer tell you to wait till they could place an order for the car? Mainly because I'd prefer to get the pricing/options down before next week and have the SA put it in once the allocations are available.

Yes. My deal is done, but just waiting to be input. They have already been sent the full wholesale pricing details for the 335is, so they should be able to negotiate a deal with you today. You can also peek at the 335is wholesale pricing sheet, as this has already been uploaded to this forum as well.

Check out this quote from an autoblog review of the 335is...
BMW says that the upgraded engine hardware is good for 0-60 in as little as 5.0 seconds for a coupe paired to the DCT gearbox. Row the gears in the fixed-roof variant yourself and you're looking at a 5.1 seconds. The convertible is a tenth of a second slower, regardless of transmission choice. It's important to note that BMW has a history of underreporting engine power figures and being conservative with its performance estimates, and judging by the acceleration we felt under suboptimal traction conditions – and the fact that DCT cars will be equipped with launch control (something with which our prototypes were not yet equipped) – we're guessing that the 335is is actually capable of clipping 60 miles-per-hour about a half-second quicker than BMW is letting on. Regardless of whether you specify a fixed or folding roof, the 335is packs it in at 150 mph.
The part that I find very interesting is that Chris Paukert is saying that the DCT will come with launch control. This seems odd, seeing as how it only comes with a single "Sport" on/off button below the shifter, and no selection of 6 DCT modes like the M3 has. I am curious how the LC will be invoked.

it seems that 2 DCT modes will be sufficient as the 6 M-DCT modes are a bit of fluff in the middle as a few owners have said....

still no confirmation if LC is on all 3 trannys ~Frost

All 3 trannys? I didn't think LC made sense on anything but DCT. Would the LC maybe provide the extra torque for 7 seconds to 6MT equipped cars?

a very well equiped M-sport LCI 335i (metallic paint, 19" , ZCW, convience, nav, bmw assist, sat radio, Harmon kardon, ipod)
is ~$51k wholesale.... ~55k list

are you really getting all that much more with the 335is? ..exclusivity.. and 20 more HP?

..oh I think you can get a M-pack with A61 "Crimson red" only with is
