A bluetooth problem -help needed

So my Bluetooth phone connection is playing up. My wife's previous 3 series had a MULF failure so I am familiar with that, but not sure this is the same thing.

Firstly, 2011 e93 (non combox).

Secondly, my car used to have two iphones connected to it. These have vanished from the phone menu.

Thirdly, my Iphone will not detect my car to enable re-connection.

Fourthly, the other symptoms of MULF failure don't seem to exist (Idrive delays, radio issues etc).

Anyone got suggestions as to what I might try and fiddle with?

lci idrive is not so weak against mulf failures

A bit of fiddling with cables and all is good again. That could have fixed it or it could simply have been part of the BMW ownership experience.
