E92 right front suspension rattle

90k miles E92, recently developed right front rattle on crummy New England roads / potholes, but drives / brakes perfectly otherwise. Intuition says sway bar stuff rather than control arms, etc. Any common items to check? TIA!

xDrive or RWD?

Describe the noise, under what conditions it occurs, etc?

General advice is to get the car lifted up and make sure there is no play in the hub, no unexpected wiggle on any of the components. Put a wrench on all your joints/connections and check for proper tightness.

Impossible to be specific unless you provide more

Metal-on-metal rattle when going over passenger side potholes only. Sway bar mounts perhaps?

Check sway end links first. Worn ones can make lots of noise even if they look ok. Also cheap and easy to fix.
