Meth kit help

Need peoples opinions who have run meth.
Im going to get the BMS truck mount meth kit, my question is, should i get the single nozzle, twin nozzle, what size nozzles etc??
I want to run meth to gain extra octane numbers, and cooler intake temps.
Im running an E85 flash (E50 mix) and map7.
I want good HP returns from the meth but i dont want a blow engine from large nozzles & poor atimization.
Let me know your thoughts!

Why do you need extra octane running E50?

I can understand wanting to lower IAT's, in the end I decided it wasn't worth the hassle (I run a cobb, so need the expensive aquamist setp and if I was doing it I would want the advan stealth tank also, plus installation works out to be quite expensive

I'm not sure of your mods, but if you are on stock frame turbos and want meth purely for increased octane - I wouldn't suggest this as the path to walk down.

I currently have meth and e85, I had meth installed before the whole e85 craze, so now only use meth for cooling and added octane safety buffer (even though my tune is conservative for my mods).

My hpfp is maxing out around a E50-E52 mix so i can't run E65, which mean's my octane is only around 96MON. I run map7 and need minimum of 100MON octane for that map. I think meth is the only thing that will get me over 100 octane without having to go down the route of the Single Barrel shot gun from VTT

imo upgrade to a fresh hpfp or vtt hpfp upgrade or PI over meth

(keep it simple)

Yeah stay away from octane booster's, it kills everything that stuff...

I was thinking of just buying a new hpfp yeah, kinda sucks when theres nothing really wrong with my old one (just wont flow more than E50-55 mix).
A VTT shotgun would be great as it can supply fuel up to about 550rwhp but is a bit of a fiddly job to DIY.
What is a PI mate????

My fresh hpfp flows easily for E50, how old is your pump? What pressures are you seeing during logs?

PI= port injection, supplementary injectors to flow extra fuel. search for the motiv or new fuelit PI setup

PI or a VTT upgrade is a much safer option then tuning for RON by adding meth imo

Ok so how's this.
VP109 race gas & E85 mix 50/50 for the track on map7, and premium unleaded & E85 50/50 mix on map2 for the street.
Any issues with running the MS109 & E85 on the E85 backend flash??

There's a few options out there with the PI kit, it's more fiddly on the tuning side but give it time and the tunes will be as simple as plug and play.

Oh yes, Port Injection! I would rather get the overdrive shot gun pump before messing with PI.
P.s, i just bought a couple of 20ltr drums of 110 octane race gas, and E85 for 1/4 mile days!! Might do a log tonight and hopefully hit over 20psi with no issues

Hey mate. What number does your hpfp drop down to in your logs on a WOT pull with E50 mix?? At an E50-55 mix my stock hpfp is dropping down as low as 7 (1050psi) in my logs!
The hpfp was in the car when i bought it so im not sure how many km's its done. If i bought a new hpfp and it ran an E65 mix without dropping under 9-10 (1350-1500psi) then that would be great, but i dont want to waste my money on it if it wont reach an E65 mix

I'm running a cobb with PTF etune so cannot help you with MS109 and E85 on the backend flash.

That would be a safer more effective (cheaper?) method if you only go to the track occasionally.

Swap the HPFP, its about $500 and can be DIY (there is a great guide on this forum)

I'm running E50 and see 1800-2000psi under WOT with a fresh pump.
