2011 335xi front end collision worth repairing?

Was wondering if this would be 11k or less to fix? Not super experienced with working on cars but am willing to do any work I can to get it back to driving condition. Can I simply take out the airbags without replacing them? |

What does your insurance say? They will determine whether it's worth repairing and if it's beyond their threshold, they will total it. You can chose to buy it back but the car will have a salvaged title which may prevent you from getting coverage.

Tough call without knowing the damage. Plus don't know if it's a high mileage car and how it's maintained. Is this your baby, or just another car?
If it's just body panels, they can all be sourced from a wrecker and bolted on. For example: https://www.picknpull.com/check-inve...VB33586KS36396 (Bonus points for doing a manual transmission swap and three stage intake upgrade from that donor!) Same for suspension components and radiator. Steering rack is bolt on. Past that, potential engine damage and worst would be bent frame spars. As long as the spars are okay, and engine components aren't damaged (too much), it's probably pretty easy to put back together. Bonus points if if you find fenders/hood/bumper cover in same color and don't need to repaint. Airbags and seat tensioner(s) will need to be replaced... don't try to work around that, just do it right. Find used ones if you want to go cheap, but get something plugged back in. Also the battery safety terminal was probably set off and will need replacing. So without knowing more than I do, I say take the buy out, see how far you can get. You'll either have it rolling again, or you can probably sell it for more than the you bought it back for at some point after it's put sorta' back together.
