325 ECU problem?

Hello,

My car is a 2008 325 petrol auto.

My engine management light came on last week and the car started misfiring and eventually cut out and would nod not start again. It fired but didn’t turn over.

Had the car recovered and fault codes were read.

The garage had the mosfets replaced in the ecu. Put everything back together again and the car started 1st time and was running. After a little while the car started coughing again and died. Back to square one with the same fault codes and non starting.

Anyone experienced this before or have any ideas? I’m worried that buying a new ecu will not fix the problem....

TIA
