Viv, sounds like the upgrade on the 3 litre petrol is bigger than you mentioned on the phone. See earlier in the thread, e-maps 3.0i ME9 BHP 254 to 300 Torque 274 to 325? Sounds like a big increase to me if its correct? And this is the £200 option!

I'm sorry Paul, but you aren't looking at the results table properly.

Std bhp Std torque Modded bhp Modded torque
254.......300.............274...............325

The actual increase in bhp is 274-254 = 20
The actual increase in torque is 325-300 = 25

It's actually a shame that what I said stands!

All the best.

Has anyone with a 330d and manual gearbox had this done? Can the gearbox take the extra torque? I ask because the 335d coupe only comes in auto, supposedly because the manual cant take it.

I think there is a french guy "paul330d" - not sure if he has a manual though?

I've just been reading this thread, has anyone on here got a 163bhp 320 remaped by DMS Automotive, sounds like an impresive gain.

Wow - remember this from the dark ages - unsure of 163 by DMS - I went with Evolve

It's amazing what info you can find on this forum if you look long enough. I would expect that the evolve remap probably gives similar figures to those from DMS. Paul how many miles have you done on your evolve map and have you had any negative results since being done? Does it make a big difference?

Makes a MASSIVE difference - only done a few thousand so far. Nothing's broken yet! went from 158/9 ish to 202. I'd heartily recommend it. Ironic really - all the research I did on maps and Evolve wasn't one of them!
