Am I paying to much? 335is sold by BMW dealer

Originally I thought it was a good price.

2011 335is with 90 000km for 27 000$ pre tax.

But the more I look around and compare with US pricing seem to be more in the 22 000$.

Any input?

The car is probably rarer and harder to come by in Canada would be my guess so they go for more north of the border, with 55k miles that's a little high but not terrible depending on color combo and options

It's space gray and fully equipped I believe with 6 speed transmission.

The only con really is there has been an accident claim of 4500$ rear center (3400$ USD).

I guess I can negotiate on that when I visit... although I have already sent in my pre-approvement for finance. Also really want some winter wheels and tires... I guess we'll see!

I think that is quite expensive for a 2011 with 90.000kms... i know its an 335is but is it really worth paying 10k over a 335i with same kms ?? i think not

With an accident on the record, I would definitely say its overpriced, the 335is is definitely worth the premium over the base 335i just because all the goodies it has, still having the n54, LSD, DTC(if you want an AT) etc, but I would try and negotiate the price down several thousand and use the accident as a negotiating tactic

'is' model is definitely holding better value than base 335i and would be worth buying if you are not going to Mod.... It doesn't suffer the same plaguing issues compared to the base 335i...

I ended up buying the car anyway. Just the trim and the IS badge inside makes it special so ehh.

I got the car for 26 000$ before tax

Well turned out it isn't a bad price if I look at some older ones who got sold before.

The car is literally mint except for the wheels.

At $26k, is it at least CPO? If not... then I hope you've budgeted a couple thousand for impending repairs. 90k is right around the mileage where every gasket will be leaking and the water pump, HPFP, injectors, will all need attention.

CPO doesn't exist anymore per say. All the cars are reconditioned when they go in and you can buy warranty at extra cost. That's what I have been told by 6 different dealers now.

I do have money on the side but didn't expect HPFP or Injectors to go out at the millage, figured those issues would have appeared before and been fixed.

The rest should be easy and cheap to fix at home based on what I read.

Anyways aren't the HPFP and Injectors covered with a 10year/80k miles warranty?

Did you buy the car in Quebec or out of province? There's one here in Toronto which is similar to your car (grey, manual, almost 90k on the clock) and they're asking $27k and no accident.

I bought it in Toronto. Lol your description sounds the exact same. I got it from Parkview BMW. The accident wasn't explicitly mention so maybe you are talking about the same one.

Yes. It's the same one. Sucks about the accident and I'm surprised they didn't give you more of a discount.

Accident isn't to bad though I checked the bumper and rear thoroughly and it's looks as new.
