Wish the Fram oil filters where worth a hoot. Found a Walmart that had stacks on clearance for $2.50 each. Despite temptation to save a buck I will stick with my Mahle.

My recommendation would be Above & Beyond Eurowerks on Bulverde Rd!

We have one every Sunday at the RIM, on the top of the parking garage, near the theater. It's a no knuckle head meet, it starts at 6PM.

I've missed the meet today again..still working on some maintenance for my car (power steering hydraulic flush today) and getting all my parts to do a front and rear suspension refresh, anyone have done this before? I'll try to do it and hopefully survive the challenge

Howdy fellows, got a weird noise every time I run the a/c, it works very well and cools/freezes really quick but it sounds like grinding inside the engine, the noise is gone once I turn the a/c button off so my guess is obviously air conditioning related..anybody with the same experience on a 2006 330i? any referrals for a fair indi technician in the schertz/new braunfels area that could give its opinion will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Check out https://www.mygermancarsa.com/. Ask for Berk, the owner. He's great-his two techs Mark and Mike, are very good at what they do. I trust this shop 100%.

As lab_rat recommended, I recommend Berk and his shop as well. Great people that are honest. It is a little out of the way (over off tradesman near 1604/i10).

Thanks, I do know them and really like their service, it's just too far from me to do a quick inspection during my lunch time and they don't work on Saturdays..

It is a bit of a drive (I'm in Universal City), so I understand what you mean. It might be worth giving Berk a call; sometimes he can diagnose things over the phone. I've heard him do it while I was in the shop one day lol.

I'll give him a try, I know he's always busy and sometimes he's a little impatient, noticed your avatar, nice 330i with an interesting interior and a manual of course, any mods?

Thanks! My 330i is completely stock, Black/Terra leather, sport & premium pkgs. I have sourced a Euro intake from the U.K., which is in shipment now. I am considering the idea of an LSD with 3.64 gearing and possibly a tune, but still on the fence with those. Everything else I plan to keep stock.
