It'll match 6k HID lights pretty well but are you referring to your stock HID's? If so, then they are 4300k and they'll be more white then the LED's.

Hi, I just finished installing the LUX H8 but the bulbs wouldn't light up & I'm getting a bulb error code. What do you think I did wrong? I followed the instructions step by step & I don't think I did anything wrong. I connected the male & female wires from the H8 bulb to the male & female wires from the wire harness. The OEM H8 connector goes with the H8 connector from the wire harness. And the positive & negative wires were all in the correct places. Is this correct? Please help.........

IT'S WORKING!!! Thanks Marc for giving me a call & fix the problem. It turns out that the H8 connector on the passenger side wasn't connected properly (didn't push it in enough). I must say the LEDs look AWESOME! I'll post some pics later. Thanks again

i'm experiencing trouble with my H8 LUX too....
they are not coming on, and i am getting the error code. my drivers side (your passenger side) resistor is not heating up, but the passenger side (your drivers side) is getting hot. i tried putting the standard bulbs in and they work fine. what could be wrong? i followed your instructions perfectly, but it's just not working. can i call you marc to see can you help me please? |
