I'm pretty sure I have seen it hit 20.1 before also, but I think it may just be a spike from spinning the tires or something. I don't know... But I've put 32k miles on the car like this and have not had an issue sinces. I'm kinda wanting the stock snails to go so I have an excuse for RB's or something similar...

I've got a few months of factory warranty left so I'll let the dealer worry about it. I've got around 53,000km on the car... I guess I better stock up on these parts if I'm going to keep the car.

Yea def. Just return the car back to stock and take it to them. If you get lucky, you will get a free walnut blasting out of it. I complained about a stutter/hesistation and in the 32k miles I've had the car I had the plugs changed twice, coils changed twice, injectors (maybe? I forget if this is one of the things they did or just tried cleaning them), and a walnut blasting.

Nothing to worry about though, normal things with these cars, especially if you are putting more power through them

Question for 2013GTR-- again I have to ask if that 19psi is stage1-aggressive or stage1-sport? Thanks.

I just picked up mine last week 07 335i sedan completely stock just PlastiDip rims and chrome and a roof spoiler I installed this weekend.

Loving my car so far and hands down best car I've bought (and I've owned 25 vehicles in the past 2 years alone)

Hey guys, long time forum lurker but now I can finally say I'm apart of the community (I have also read every single page on this thread before I posted, haha!) Last week I picked up my first BMW and of course I went with the 335is! Absolutely love the car, it's easily the nicest vehicle I have ever owned and I can't wait to see how she handles after a few mods. Speaking of mods I have actually already ordered some toys. Being shipped to me now: BMS CP, VRSF DPs, BMS Oil-Catch Can, AFE Stage 2 Cai & JB4 of course!

Unfortunately the weather has been complete garbage the past week or so and thus I don't have any great pictures of the car. But I've got one decent one. I'll provide more later.

Now I want to lower the car a bit and get those wheels flushed up. What are my options? I read that with the 19" all I need is a 12mm in the back and a 10mm upfront to have them sitting nice and flush without rubbing. Can anyone attest to this? Also it seems the cars front is a tad higher then it should be. What are my options for lowering this bad girl. I don't want the slammed look, just want to bring the front down a bit.

Also, unfortunately the front plate was mounted from the dealer I purchased the vehicle from and I have since removed that and the bracket for a clean front fascia however I now have 6 screw holes I need to have resolved. Looks like I am going to have to visit a body shop and have those filled and have a respray done.

Thank you,

Peppers

With the exception of Stage 1 Sport, all the rest of the Stage 1 maps have the exact same load targets and they all have the same WGDC tuning. Stage 1 Aggressive and Stage 1+ Sport even have the exact same load target profile. Stage 1 Sport should "normally" be around 14-15psi and all the rest around 16-17psi, just like 2013GTR's log above shows.

Steve,

Check out this log of stg 1 ST Aggressive log on my stock 335is.
http://www.datazap.me/u/335isbmw/stg...=0&data=3-4-14

Stage 1 agr boost osculates like crazy on my car. Looks and feels like crap. When I go to the stg 1+ it all smooths out.

Cobb must have changed something...

I also frequently see 19 psi spikes with all Cobb's aggressive maps. I even see 20 every once in a while. I'm sure they are just spikes though.

The 4.0.2 maps get rid of the oscillation and I think only certain maps from them had the update.

That's what I figured, no timing across the board and why hitting 19-20psi isn't good if you're not tuned to get it. I'm sure the pull in that log felt like crap It oscillates on Stage 1 and not on Stage 1+ because of what SUHleen said.

+1 I thought they changed it on all, but v401 maps do still have the high D-factor tables I don't know what the logic is behind that on Cobb's part, but good call

Yea and I'm not sure why they only updated certain maps and not all of them to get rid of the oscillation. I think they are starting to move on to newer platforms and the e9x stuff is getting put on the back burner for now. Either way, the best thing to do is get a custom tune and use the Cobb just as a starting point. Nothing is wrong with their maps and they can get pretty aggressive while still staying somewhat safe, but there is a lot more power to be had with a custom tune. Smoother power, at that.
