I'll be in for a set. Will post results. My are cooked and my rear tire wear is awful as a result, along with squirrely handling.

The main reason I didn't go with the Rogue or Megan ones was the 2-3x price factor, and the bushings blowing out relatively soon. Although you could buy the bushings for the Rogue arms, the cost to install them was literally the same as buying a set of Manzo arms and throwing them in. I figure if the Manzo ones end up having shitty bushings and even if I need to replace them annually with the mileage I do (the Manzo are not serviceable), they're priced so low that I'd still be coming out better from the start.

It's great to hear that you didn't have any additional noise or clunks with these.
Every bushing in the back of my car is done. I'm trying to piece together something that will work for me, and replace everything with something I can forget about for a long time. Id love to know if anyone has experience with their other rear end pieces.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1091647 Maybe a set of adjustable arms could be part of the fix.

Swapping to toe arms that would allow more toe adjustment completely resolved my issues and I'd wager they will for you too. |

WHY couldn't BMW fix some of these problem on the E92 335's instead of giving it the exact same suspension as the 328 even though it had 70+HP more and 80+ more torque??? Because the figured 99% of these cars were going to end up as boulevard cruisers. We are the 1%...

How are these holding up? I am looking to replace the toe arms during the spring overhaul.

Good luck getting the camber (eccentric) bolts out if you live in a northern state that uses salt on the roads in the winter. My toe arms are creaking. I just ordered OEM arms and brand new eccentric bolts, washers and nuts. I tried to get them out last weekend. They are literally fused to the bushing. PB blaster and a 2x4 with a hammer on the other end, was a no go. I am going to take it into the shop tomorrow, where they will most likely have to torch or cut it off. Damn bolts are $30.00 with shipping. The OEM arms themselves aren't that bad ($120.00) for the set. I am a daily driver and figured the original toe arms lasted 108,000 miles given our crappy winters and salt on the roads.
You should get an alignment on the car after this is done. Bentley repair manual has 74# of torque on the bolts and it also has the factory camber and toe settings for the car. |

My 135i is making massive power now, has a Quaife LSD, diff lock down bracket, and M3 rear guide rods. These arms should help keep toe in check, during hard accelerations.
I think Im pulling the trigger on these. Hopefully they will survive some track abuse, and our Canadian winters.

Just did some digging and it turns out that Manzo and Megan are the same company and there parts are manufactured identically. Just different paint and Megan parts come with a warranty.
For the price you cant go wrong with Manzo! PM me if you need a to find a good place to get these with a lower price than there website. Last edited by 11LMBiSTT; 05-11-2015 at 06:59 PM.. |
