jeffb335 since this weekend my bluetooth started to fail, i can make phone calls but i cant hear music or any sounds thats coming from bluetooth.

when i play music, it shows the current song but then looks like the reception is lost or something, i cant hear anything, and the steering wheel controls doesnt work either to skip the song, but i still can use the volume button (even if i cant hear anything) and all the other buttons too.

I updated the firmware today in the morning and still happening.

I already reset the blurtooth on the unit and on my phone too (forget this device and all that..)

Did you reboot your phone (assuming iphone, hold down the home and lock buttons for 10 seconds/until it reboots)

yes, i did, and i upgraded all the Apps (spotify and Pandora). Im running IOS 10.3.2, Iphone 7

I noticed that its tanking longer to pair the bluetooth when i got into my car and sometimes doesnt even paid and i have to manually select "dynavin" and few times said the pairing it was not succesful.

Try a different phone and see if it does the same....we want to determine if the dynavin or the phone is the issue.

Are there any videos out there on how to install this on an E92 without iDrive and heated seats? Really want to get this but I'm not sure I will be able to install this myself.

jeffb335 apparently was the Dynos update, i tried with 2 other phones and was randomly working, so i re-installed the Dynos update and now its working fine.

I just want to post another positive comment about the fantastic customer service from J&T!

My N6 started suffering from the white/rainbow screen. Randomly at first and over the course of a couple weeks progressed into basically all the time.

The return process was absolutely painless and the turnaround was crazy fast! It's now back in the car and everything appears to be working properly again.

The only negative about going through the process was that 3 of the 4 clips that hold the HVAC controls had snapped off before I even got the unit fully pulled from my dash. Thankfully it seems to still be holding it fine once reinstalled.

Hey Jeff,
Installed my N6 yesterday with iLink and love it. Hopefully there is a next gen in the works that includes carplay and android auto but this is good. A few gripes with igo:

No street name announcements
No traffic info.

The traffic info is important since I live in ny. It could change my arrival time by 45 mins going to the city and accidents can affect the best way in. Is there any way to enable traffic updates? I like the appearance and feel of igo way more than crapple maps so I'd rather not be stuck using that.

So here's another new quirk that I just noticed...

Every morning when I start my vehicle the time is an hour behind on the SRC or Radio screens. If I switch to the nav screen, the time is correct to my timezone. However, every afternoon when I leave the office the time is correct on every screen.

I could understand if I just missed a daylight savings setting, but it doesn't make sense that its wrong in the mornings and correct in the afternoon.

My unit was updated to the latest firmware when it went in for white screen repairs.

Jeff, do you know if this N6 E9X has internet connectivity for igo primo to get traffic updates via the internet instead of TMC? It does mention internet connection on 'http://www.dynavin.com/products/n6_e9x.php', and igo primo will support it.

Hi all. Just wondering if there has been any updates recently with the iPods and album artwork. Thought I'd bought a Gen5 iPod and the art work is there but blurry or broken. Can anybody shed some light.

Also. It might be me but say I have 5 linken park albums. Is there a way I can listen to all 5 rather than just going through the artist and only albe to select one? Seems stupid.

No, I dont know exactly what is going on with that specific model of ipod but that year of nano and classic seem to be problematic with the artwork....but I had a conversation with dynavin a while back and they indicated that it was a hardware incompatibility with whatever apple did that year.

If you select artist on the left instead of browsing by folder it should display all the songs by that artist.

Not that I know of. Its been discussed before but there are a lot of roadblocks.

my guess is that it would need to be coded out. I have the error too but can code out other things with iCarly so it hasn't been a pressing issue for me.
