Shock Absorber & Ball Joint Issue
Just had the car back from servicing and three items of note:
The front shock absorber is leaking . Slight play in the rear arm ball joint. Slight gearbox sump pan leaking. Should I be worried (didn't get chance to speak to the technician who worked on my car)? What kind of cost involved to replace/rectify? Car is an E90 330d M Sport 2005 with 144k miles. Cheers all. |

If you've gotten 144k on those stock components then you've definitely gotten your money's worth out of those parts. If you were to DIY all of that stuff you could knock all of that out for less than $1000. That's assuming you do AT pan/filter/oil/mech sleeve, both front shocks, and rear arm. |
