There are no signs of the former 8.1 maps so I'm assuming these are the new versions of the 8.1 maps that were causing issues with Stage1+ guys or just an entire new set of OTS maps.

I'll be flashing this weekend. Anyone get any logs down or have anything to report, let us know.

I just flashed stage 1 yesterday, I had really bad corrections with 8.1 and went back to 7.0, with this new map it seems more well behaved please note that my spark plugs are due by now (stock Bosch's changed around 10k kms ago) so there are still a lot of corrections made but nothing super crazy as with 8.1 (running eldor coils)

fuel trimmings I guess they still need to settle for a few days so I hope they get better both AFR and STFT

overall this feels better than 8.1 but I will have to test further vs v7

More aggressive PID control and changes in base table values, torque tables. Overall smoothness and power delivery.

Boost is very erractic. timing is all over the place. Probably because your hitting torque lim 1

Just flashed omw home from work. I haven't had the chance to log, but I can tell you torque down low on the ACN91 Stage2+ feels much greater and through the band almost equivalent to the v8 E30 map I was running

why would you say that. Boost target and actual boost are very close together, it looks nice.

8.1 is a bad number, remember windows 8.1 - no one does!

I agree...that’s not a good log. Look at the rpm fluctuations...

I ran stock Bosch plugs for almost 30k miles without issue on all kinds of tunes including my full custom one at the end of those miles, 10k kms is nothing

then I must start to track all those timing corrections, It doesn't look that good considering is just stage 1, just replaced the ignition coils but noticed the LPFP started dying as I saw some dips under 50 (lowest at 44) on several pulls

You're going to get timing corrections with an off the shelf map

Unless they are really bad I wouldnt worry too much

Walnut blast done recently? If not. Put that on your next to do list

Ongoing timing corrections are not normal even on OTS maps. I'm running them for years without corrections. So you need to get better fuel or flash a lower octane map. Also lpfp going under 50psi without running ethanol is not good indeed.

Wait when tuned you should change plugs every 10k KM? I thought it was a bit more than that, around 30k KM.

I believe is 15-30k miles for Bosch and 10-15k miles for NGK colder plugs.

so nobody has feedback after running them for a week or so? Please post if you did, and also which map?
I will do it after I get my car sticker. If I do it now, I can't get the sticker due to codes reset...

Been running the 9.0 map for a couple of days now with no problems. Everything seems fine but I just went Stage 2 so I don't have much base for comparison. Logs here:

https://datazap.me/u/ctgabz/9stg2?log=0&data=3-23
https://datazap.me/u/ctgabz/9stg2b?log=0&data=3-23

The car: 2010, Z4 35i DCT, Mishimoto FMIC, Masata CP, VRSF DPs.

Not sure if the logs are any good but it seems to be hitting target boost and no significant timing corrections from what I can see.

you should be fine, I was planning on changing them but with the previous responses I just took a look and they seem fine, it's just 50 dlls a set from FCP euro (even less if you go through the life time warranty) so no harm on that side at least for me

my point was because of the timing corrections I'm getting but since I haven't walnut blasted in a while it might be that

Ok, had a few city runs since I installed 9.0 beta. Seems to come in much stronger than 8.0 maps that I was running before (this is 1+), but the map is smooth, no surprises.
I do have a torque limit on 1st and second gear setup (155, 175).

I will post after another week or so, after running for at least 500 miles.
