Hi guys!

I have some problems with my tyre spec. I am runing 235/35/19 in the front (michelin pilot super sport) and 265/30/19 on rear (verdestein ultra vortic r). 8.5/9.5. I know that it is a strange wheel conbination front/rear but the measures are correct.

the car started tugging and unplug the transfer case. The car is going fabulous with rwd. today I measured the circumference of the front and rear wheels, the front measures 2051mm and rear 2022mm.

I do not understand why the difference is so huge, it is on 1,5%. Could it be because in front have michelis pilot super sport?

I will change the 4 wheels and put 235/275 spec in the future.

Sorry about my english, i have to improve

Thanks all!

Yes you can’t expect different tire brands/makes to have the same relative sizing. Also the Michelin has better grip compared to vreds so that doesn’t help neither. You should stick to matching tires in general.

yeah, you can mix widths on an xi (assuming the overall diameter is similar), but you shouldn't mix brands and models. Although I'm not sure staggared sizes makes sense on a car that already understeers heavily..

Thanks a lot for your advice. from now on I know that I do not have to mix makes anymore. I will install 235/275 spec on a moth more or less and i will prove that the transfercase is working properly. Cheers!!
