Leaking fuel near driver side rear muffler e90 335i

Any idea what could be leaking fuel and causing performance, fuel pressure loss, around the rear axel?

I am smelling fuel, I noticed a small wet spot on top of rear muffler around near the Drive shaft, differential area.

I pulled back seat and checked top of regulator and had no cracks or any kind of wetness. Though it was extremely dusty.

Any ideas?

there are fuel lines that run accross to driver rear of car. These lines hook up to your charcoal canister. maybe one of the lines are bad and leaking????

The fuel lines that run from the tank to the engine are also on the drivers side. If the top hat is fine check the lines next.

Will check lines.. just had fuel pressure regulator replaced, water pump, vanos solenoids, plugs, still experiencing a rough feel like misfiring idle.. and a huge powerloss/ obvious fuel pressure loss between 1-3k, before boost. Turbos probably compensating for lack of pressure/power. Disgusting situation.
