It reeks in my garage and starting to smell very faintly even throughout the first floor.

Is this common? Should I check underneath my rear car seats for anything?

One thing to note is that you cannot smell it inside the car, nor through the car vents. The fact that I cannot smell it through the vents tells me it is probably an exhaust/rear seat fuel issue and not a fuel injector issue?

Seems to be vapor only because I did not notice any gas puddles on the ground.

Please help!

Very likely the fuel sender unit on the left rear side of the car u der the rear bench. Same thing happened to our e90 about a year ago. Smelled it in the garage first too.

Same thing happened to me, cost me 900$ from to dealer to fix SMH.
