Seattle for business trip.
Hey guys!
I am going to Seattle on Sunday for a business trip and will arrive around noon. The hotel that I will be staying is the Warwick Hotel. Can somebody please tell me what there is to do around there? I have no clue, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Scott

Transportation? Are you on foot, or do you have a rental car?
Within walking distance of the Warwick: Pike Place Market Seattle Waterfront Aquarium Space Needle - http://www.spaceneedle.com/ Experience Music Project (EMP) - http://www.empsfm.org/ Pacific Science Center & IMAX - http://www.pacsci.org/ If you have a car available, then you can expand the area: Ballard Locks Fisherman's Terminal Red Hook Brewery Woodinville - http://www.redhook.com/ Pyramid Brewery - http://www.pyramidbrew.com/home.php Ste Michelle Vineyads Woodinville - http://www.ste-michelle-wine-estates.com/ Columbia Vineyars Woodinville - http://www.columbiawinery.com/ I'm sure there are more sight seeing things downtown that I'm forgetting. As for places to eat, if you like steak, The Metropolitan Grill is my favorite. http://www.themetropolitangrill.com/ Not cheap, but that is what expense accounts are for, right? There is also El Gaucho. I've not been to the one in Seattle, but the one in Portland has never disappointed me. http://www.elgaucho.com/elgaucho/ There is also the usual steak chains like Ruth's Chris and Morton's. Other great food locations downtown: Wild Ginger (Thai) - http://www.wildginger.net/ McCormick & Schmick's - seafood Chandler's Crabhouse - seafood Ray's Boathouse in Ballard - seafood If you have a particular style of food you like, let us know and we can probably find a good recommendation. Lots of great sushi places too.

A trip to Seattle isn't complete without getting mugged in the Metro bus tunnel. Just ask the nearest local crackhead for directions. But seriously if you're at all into the music scene, you should check out the EMP (Experienced Music Project) near the Seattle Center. You could waste a whole day in there.

Just because someone is an athete or a celebrity doesn't mean they have good taste. This country would be far better off if regular people didn't give a shit about what "athletes and celebrities" think or do, and instead made their own decisions. Anyway, the OP was looking for recommendations on what to do in Seattle while here on a BUSINESS trip. He wasn't looking for advice on why he should move here, or an opinion of the city itself, so your post was completely off-topic and of zero value. Oh, and the entire state of California is an armpit in my opinion. Sure, some parts are nice to visit, but living there would suck. It is one of three states on my list of "I'll never live there, no matter how much someone pays me." And that doesn't mean that Seattle is all that great either.
