Hi all,

1. I've been using iPhone with N6 but am considering moving to Android and Samsung S7. Will it function the same way via USB connection (can I scroll through music, forward/rewind, etc)? Will I be forced to do A2DP, or can it be done through hardwire through USB like the iPhone was capable of?
2. Still hoping for answer on the reverse camera directional parking assist lines (red, yellow, green). I believe they "turned" with steering wheel turn on old firmware, but do not anymore (they stay straight no matter what). In addition, on the OBD screen, I only now have water temp. Everything else I used to have, like voltage, etc. is gone. Can anyone confirm about the parking assist lines being stationary on the new firmware?

Thanks in advance.

Just keeping the other question alive- Is A2DP the only option for Android phones (more specifically, Galaxy S7 Edge, which I understand has some issues with other aftermarket head units regarding A2DP)? I don't want to get that phone only to find out it won't work with the N6. Thanks!

EDIT: Jeff to the rescue. Again. Had to go into a hidden setup menu and tell the N6 what kind of car it's in. My OBC stuff and my parking assist lines are all back and functioning.

If you run yellow wire to battery, isn't that going to drain battery?

Not really.....almost ALL car stereos have a constant power wire for memory etc... The E9X is a bit of an oddball in the way the oem stereo is wired.

Since there was a previously established history of Dynavin units coming out and superseding previous versions, shall we expect an N7 unit for the E9X platform..??

My radio keeps cutting out when it's cold outside, do you think replacing it with Dynavin would fix that problem? Pm best rate shipped to 48313

Question for ya Jeff. Will the radio display the grid lines on its own thru this camera or will I need to use the lines built into the camera? Thanks.

I'm seriously considering buying one of these units, but at £599 how does the sound quality compare with the likes of Alpine and Pioneer.

Depends.....if the issue is with your factory head unit or the factory amp....

See our website for pricing details, jandtdistributing.com

It varies by model but the E9X unit displays its own gridlines.....turn them off on the camera and use the dynavins.

Hi Jeff,
I have a Dynavin N6 that unfortunately has random white screen.
I emailed you. Can you help me?
Thank you

The issue was a solder joint on a circuit board....dynavin revised the part a long time ago, but there are still quite a few of the old boards floating around. BUT as you know, they ARE out of warranty, with Dynavin's assistance we have been taking care of them for our customers as a matter of goodwill...but it takes a substantial amount of time and money to do so....so not every dealer will.

i got the update to work...

the sound issue is still there...the radio is so damn loud from no sound 0 to volume level 1.

My unit also has buzzing and humming interference...

The update caused me to lose the "off" in the hvac climate control...

Back up camera has double (quadruple) lines. 2 from dynavin and 2 from the back up camera. How do I turn one of them off?

Ok........

So the humming/buzzing/disturbance is constant. Everytime the key is in the unit buzzes even when there is no volume.

Also I just realized in addition to the stationary buzzing I also have an alternator whine as well when driving.

Everything is good with install. Everything works. Backup cam works. Powered by 12v to battery with fuse tap. all wiring is good. MOST Logic 7 adapter plugged in. All RCAs are plastic capped.

Upon further investigation, it seems like the Dynavin's main lower harness is the culprit. When I unplug that the noise goes away.

I unplugged the rca, noise still there.
I unplugged the gps, noise still there.
I unplugged the antenna, noise still there.
I unplugged the hvac, noise still there.
I unplugged the dynavin UPPER harness and noise still there.

I unplugged the dynavin LOWER harness and noise is gone, but also unit is powered off.

so it's the lower harness from the dynavin side, the MOST adapter box, or the canbus box?

For some reason I think it's the MOST box. It seems like issues with the speakers buzzing via the Logic 7 setup. It's works though as everything works and music plays, but that damn background buzz is unbearable.

Its buzzing/static interference within the Logic 7 system.

Nothing wrong with my system as when I plug in my stock radio, everything is normal...

That's why I think its the MOST adaptor or the lower dynavin plug harness.

What's wrong with your unit?
