I officially love these tyres!!
Pic for reference again: When they first arrived, touching and rubbing them with your hand you could feel that they were a sticky tyre. There was also no issue with them stretch fitting the 265's on my 11" rears, and i'm yet to rub - although i did raise the front and rears by about 1cm (which would have helped alot) They just grip and GO! No messing, spinning or squealing around! The power runs through 2nd to 3rd just hook and propel forwards.. It's a weird feeling actually, as i've been so used to the spin and slides... now, it's like a rubber band propulsion on the upshift! Definitely putting the power down much more effectively. Road Noise: Hardly an increase if any... And was very surprised by that. My previous tyres were Pirelli Pzero's up front for reference. Wet weather performance: I don't drive aggressively at all in wet conditions, and take corners/roundabouts tactfully but not like a grandma.. And so far, no difference to the Pirelli's. (For my own reference, Tyres changed @ 73K) Last edited by _ink; 08-22-2016 at 04:48 AM.. |

Wow that's surprising that there's no noticeable noise increase fitting these tyres! The nitto nt05's I noticed a fair increase in noise, not R888 noisy but yeah a bit of tyre whine like I use to have with kumho's...

I find they do get noisier after around 7k km.. But still very acceptable and nowhere near the noise of something like a dunlop direzza star spec.

My car is a little more noiser than the average one around, with the custom exhaust and TFT induction sound.. This might contribute to me not noticing it. |

The fugliest things in the stock engine bay in no particular order are: - Intake manifold - Plastic shroud - Brake booster hard line across intake vent - Wiring looms across the engine |

Haha im to embarrassed to show mine yet. I got cowlfilters so the wiring is hideous.. In time I was reading about some oil filter housing gaskets on forum and saw u posted about similar issues years ago(oil leak on the filter housing area). Did u remember if ya fixed that by replacing the OFHG only? Or did u did u have to do the oil cooler gasket too? |

I need to learn to launch this DCT thing... I have the kick down switch blocked via MHD, but you need that active to launch a DCT... I've been bugging Terry@BMS to work on a alternate DCT launch sequence. |

So with these DCTs is the problem getting it to stall over 2500rpm for a decent launch? |
