Average expected Gains?

When I had my mazda rx8, gains were minimal...

Ram-intake (HKS) [with cold air duct (RacingBeat)]: +1-3hp
High-flow midpipe (SR Motorsports): +7-9hp
Cat-back Exhaust (borla): +2-4hp
Headers (RE): +2-3hp
ECU (Canzoomer): +~4hp (Did not have time to tune... conservative mapping... too big of a pain in the ass to hassle w/ AF mixtures) avg gains after tuning approx +12-17hp

And out of all these mods, I found the lightweight flywheel, HD clutch and pressure plates to be the most rewarding... and the best bang-for-buck being the short shifter...

the power constraints can be from the tiny 1.3L Renesis engine... but still!

Greddy Turbo (@5psi): +~20-25hp [Greddy e-Manage ECU]
IMO, Greddy blows the big one... Rough idle, stalling, No-coldweather starts, boost spikes, etc... Greddy = bad news.

However, looking on Technik Engineering site...
http://www.technikpower.com

Intake: +12hp
ECU: +25hp
Headers: +14hp

And their power packages...
1. Intake + ECU = +34hp
2. Intake + ECU + Headers = +44hp

(at least they didn't just add the HP gains, as we would immediately know that the numbers are fudged...)

I'm skeptical about believing this information... I mean, I've heard that some Acura RSX's get approx +20hp from an intake (and this is due to their extremely restrictive airbos)...

Any insight? And any info on Avg hp gains from mods?

Note: The numbers above are for the 325i (e90)

we've been burnt many many times before with the claimed hp gains. There's really no point in guessing/speculating/hypothesizing the potential hp gain unless a real-life dyno is provided alongside the advertised product. With that said, so far, the only aftermarket intake I would buy is the Gruppe M, read Michael, aka ksfrogman's thread on it for more info.

If you must have a guess then the gains from the mentioned modz on your E90 325 would probably net you around 20Hp if you are lucky. Most NA BMW straight sixes mod about the same way and probably visiting sites like E46fanatics or bimmerforums would help to answer your question. My E36 M3 gained about 10Hp with an intake and exhaust.
