Im digging the OEM CF but my tastes would stop it there instead of adding the additional Robinson accents.
So I dont have to look thru 265 posts, can you tell me how much and where you got the OEM CF? Im assuming BMW since its OEM so whats left is how much? Thx |

You can find it on http://www.mileoneparts.com. Almost for sure the best price out there.

Car spent another day at Bavarian Performance Group to get some work done today. We managed to install:
1. Shadowline window trim 2. ECE-spec factory pre-painted M3 side rearview mirrors 3. Robson Design carbon fiber accent Just noticed that the Lumix LX2 is out of battery so need to recharge it and will take some pics later tonight. {SPACE SAVED FOR PICTURES} I think the look that I'm going for is slowly coming together. I might ditch the stock CF trim and go for some Robson CF trim so I'll have to sell the OEM CF trim in the near future. Here's what coming down the pipeline next: 1. Hamann front bumper 2. Hamann side skirts redo 3. Vorsteiner V35 vented hood with hood shock adapter kit 4. 5000K D1S, HID foglight conversion 5. Smoked tail lights To complete the interior look, I'm still waiting for some seat covers and the dreaded M-DCT/DKG paddle shifters.

Thanks. Your car looks sick with the exposed trunk and hood. My friends were drooling all over your car the other night
My hood was still in production so JLeviSW was able to add it to my active order at Vorsteiner. I have not heard from them with regards to ETA of the hood though.

Angel eyes? I have the PIAA LED units, which looks pretty shitty in the sun. I'd recommend waiting a little bit to see how the M-Force and Duke Dynamics units look before pulling the trigger. I got mine from http://www.rakuten.co.jp. I used a middleman like http://www.fromjapan.co.jp to get them. Total cost was about $300.

It's from Cyba (Derek). The weave is very good. We had some issues with fitment though, needed to sand some tabs down.

Getting it fit is not that hard, so I would still recommend getting it.

Looks awesome kev! There's never a dull moment following your modding diary!
Where'd you get the factory painted m3 mirrors? I can't wait to see your car in person at the 88! But then again - the roads in the area have been horrendous of late.

Thanks for the compliments~ The mirrors are from Rover Active. They are more pricey than Tischer but the paint did match up well and the I like the Euro mirror glass with the anti-blindspot section. I think they are almost done repaving Comm Ave, but I'd still take the Pike out to the Cambridge exit to get to 88. The roads around there are just nasty.
