I completely put the rear bumper on the back burner and out of my head for the meantime as it just causes me so much stress that it's impossible to find hahaha. I refuse to cut as well until it has to absolutely be done. I may by a cheap ebay re0 to cut and plastic weld experiment with UT maybe do yours if it comes out nice.

There's one on ebay NIB I believe it's oem maybe not for 1k plus tax and shipping. 1 left that I've been watching but refuse that price, if you want link.

Considering I'm well past 226,000 miles (September 2013 - LOL), I'm at a decision point. I have 4 other cars and a full shop with a lift, so it's a easy project for me other than balancing garage time with Wife time. But at my miles, I'm not sure I want to get that involved. However though, it would be a good reason to get that MIG welder I've been eying lately. My subframe is not as gone as yours is. I think I can add some metal back on and be good.
For the record, I'd be interested in hearing/seeing what it's like to MIG weld more metal back there; but as a practical matter, I'd recommend just sourcing a replacement subframe. The one I found was just a hair over $200 and that included shipping from PA to MA. I think I got lucky, but if you're not in a hurry, you could likely do as well.

BTW, you were who I was thinking about when I noted my limited facilities. If I had your lift, etc. there'd be little that I would not tackle on my own.

Gifted myself a nicer phone mount. I like it so far. Lots of metal, and hopefully will last. Previously I had the kind that clamps onto a vent, and never liked it. This is a lot more solid and brings it a bit closer to me as well. Grub screws were a hassle to tighten down, that's the only temporary negative. I'll go out on a limb and recommend it for E9x peeps:

At least it's good to know it wasn't just me this happened to, definitely embarrassing of a noise to drive around with. Not that the infamous xdrive front suspension is quiet now after putting it back and the new hose but it's somewhat better.
Showing temporary fix I had that obviously leaked

I did a error code check via Bimmerlink the other day and got the following:
498E: 498E oil level sensor
My 320d doesn’t have the ability to check the oil level via idrive or dashboard, only via the dipstick. Am I right in thinking the sensor is only for oil condition for the CBS? If that’s the case, I can leave it as it is surely? I change the oil every six months anyway.

In the process of buying a 2011 335i - Performance Package car too! (ZMZ)
70K miles, last month of production for the sedan (10/2011), so should have the updated HPFP/OFHG.

Space gray / black, steptronic with premium 2, sport, heated seats, and iDrive. Really excited to be back after driving the F10 around for the past 2 weeks - it’s a really nice boat but I missed the E90…

Last step will be getting it shipped from California back to GA - anyone have any recommendations for shipping companies?

Nexus auto transport is one I’ve used a few times and everything went smoothly.

Now that I know about it, I noticed my wife's F10 has a knob like that. Who knew!

There some kind of wind or water guard within your roof rails? I can't seem to see light passing through... I am intrigued.
