Airbag Error, Can't Clear
Hey all,
I have a 2011 e92 328i M Sport. While replacing the battery a while back, I made the semi-fatal error of closing the trunk with the battery out. No ski pass through, no trunk keyhole, no power from connecting to another car. I had to hotwire the trunk wire under the dash by carefully shaving the insulation off the wire and connecting it to power. Before getting to that wire, I thought it was a different wire (same color, just different location) and when I connected it to the new battery, I think I fried whatever it was... It now seems like it was possibly the passenger airbag module. I have an airbag light, and codes 93af (active headrest), 93ad (side airbag) and 93ca (b-pillar airbag). My question is, how do I fix this properly? I've tried clearing the codes with Protool but it doesn't clear them. I tried disconnecting the battery and then the yellow connector under the seat with no luck. Did I possibly fry the MRS module? Thanks in advance.
