Moved from JBD to Malone Stage 2 - Wow

I'll update w/ dyno numbers when I get a chance to get on a roller, but for now, I wanted to share my experience. Not much to it, really. The JBD was terrific. I drove it for over a year set to ~95% and for the price, I am and continue to be happy with the product. Only the occasional CEL and related to my own no-no's each time (like getting on the gas without warming up fully). Of course, like most gear heads, I couldn't leave well enough alone. Since I'm subject to DEQ for registration and I'm not interested in playing the address registration game, the hole-hog/delete-everything options were off the table. The Malone Stage 2 tune seemed to provide the best numbers of all the no-delete tuning options, so I went with that. A few days in, I can't stop grinning. Combined w/ my DO/AEM methanol system and Sprint Booster, this car absolutely rips. The biggest difference over the JBD is the flattening of the HP and TQ power-bands across the RPM range. The car gets up and stays up.

No complaints. No SES or CEL lights. Straight-forward flash. All around excellent experience.

I hate to revive a old thread, but how is the car running so far with the Malone Stage 2 and emissions still active?

Man, and I'm sorry my notifications are clearly turned off. I'll fix that now.

It's still the best you can do without pulling out the emissions crap. It's terrific, especially with the methanol system (which is totally separate and doesn't require any additional tuning).

Highly recommended!

what about in California?

I too have a JBD now, and its OK, but I'm in CA, and I thought that I didn't have any other tune options. I'm curious if there are any other CA based members that are running this tune with all the alphabet still installed. Love to hear from any CA based Ds with Malone.
