e91 '59 335d Sport Touring - £5,495 ono
Having put a deposit on another M135i yesterday afternoon, both my e91 335d and e90 335i are now for sale. This is the thread for the 335d.
'59 plate LCI touring in Sapphire Black with black leather/silver hex cube interior. 236k miles (previous owner bought it on circa 20k, then did 6 years of 30-35k a year commuting from Salisbury to Hanworth down the M3 each day). I am the 3rd owner. Full service history, recently changed air/oil/pollen/fuel filters, all silicon vacuum hoses replaced, as have the waterpump/ thermostats, gearbox oil changed etc. EGR+EGR cooler has been removed/mapped out. Tyres are all Dunlop Sport Maxx's, decent tread, discs/pads are fine General condition of the car is very good, front end is a bit "motorway blasted" but barring that you'd never guess its done over 200k miles!! History is as follows: 335d Service History by Sir_Dave, on Flickr When i bought it, i noticed that it was smoking on idle slightly (EGR not mapped out correctly last year) so i left it at BWchiptune (imho the best in the business) for a couple of days and told them to "fix anything you find" with the engine. They replaced the MAF/air temp sensor, gave everything a through once over, removed the DMS map that was on it previously and made sure that the car was running 100% properly, this was done on the dyno, so you can be assured that all is well. Red line is BWChiptune, Blue is DMS, black is back to standard. Untitled by Sir_Dave, on Flickr The car gets up to temp perfectly fine and stays there, averages 37-42mpg depending on town>motorway at 80. This work cost over £800, but im a firm believer that if you are going to do a job, you do it properly … Spec wise, its got adaptive xenons (move with the steering wheel) inc. high beam assist, CIC navigation (with an uprated/enlarged SSD harddrive), bluetooth phone connection, electric folding/dipping outside mirrors (coded to fold on the key) and MQ Quart front/rear speaker upgrade with Vibe amp - this sounds great actually, similar to my Logic 7!! FYI, the base stereo in these is quite frankly awful!!! I've also swopped the autobox paddles so left is "-" and right is "+", plus coded digital speedo in the instrument cluster. By comparison, this one has a few miles, but has had a lot of the preventative maintenance already done. Also, having had quite a few e9*'s (6 in the last 3 years as it happens), i can safely say that this one drives better/tighter than any of the others on half the miles. With all of that in mind, I’m looking for £5,495 but am open to any serious offers. |
