question on installing bov

was trying to get the ****** bov install to the 2009 135i, till a point when i need to remove the stock charge pipe, i actually found that mine is different than a lot of pics i saw compare to the other n54 engine. Mine stock charge pipe has a extra pipe and is connect to like a pump but that pump is not connect to anything at all? anyone has an idea what that is?

I took it out, and get the ****** bov installed, with the front of nipple on the bov connect to the engine and the back nipple of the bov connected to the DV at the back? is that correct, and for some reason i actually found that the sound of the bov is so tiny, hardly notice it at all, is there something that i miss?

here's the pic of the extra pipeing

No you take both DVs out, I don't know who came up with that idea of leaving one DV in. Take them both out and run one vacuum line from the nipple on the intake manifold to the nipple on the FRONT of the BOV.

How you have it set up right now it will not work so I would suggest fixing it before you test it.

Ok. Is that mean take out the rear dv out completely? Or just cap the hole? Btw, do you have any idea of what's that extra piping is? Thank you so much

The extra piping is a resonator, the 335i doesnt have that. Take the whole rear DV off.

Yes take it out completely, you don't need it, and yes, cap it off as well. The kit should've came with 2 caps.
