I just installed a squared set of EC-7Rs this past weekend — looks phenomenal! (And that weight difference from 18" 313s to these 17x9s? Omg!) anyways, I am at a block with what is shown below. I am going to double check the camber is set to -1 — but worst case scenario that it is: what size do y'all think? Ideally going to order between the 5mm and 12mm from apex. I'd also like to fill out the rear's fender. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!

Please advise on the fitment before I order. I want the most rear traction possible. Completely stock suspension e92.

Front: 18x9 et 30 but which tire to go with?
235/40/18 --> too much stretch on a 18x9 rim.
255/35/18 --> might be the best choice?
Or my preferred 245/40/18 due to bigger sidewall, but I have heard of these rubbing?

Rear: 18x10 et33 with 275/35/18 PS4S
I am open to doing a very slight fender roll and dial in -2 camber. Will this fit?

Hi there,

For a staggered setup with a 18x9" ET30 front and a 18x10" ET33 rear, I would recommend running 245/40-18 front and 275/35-18 rear tires. These sizes will be the closest in overall rolling diameters and you shouldn't have any rubbing with a 245/40-18 up front on stock suspension. In the rear, a 275/35-18 will typically require a rear fender roll to fit without rubbing under suspension compression. No fender pulling, etc will be required.

I have a titanium silver 2008 e92 335i. I currently have a set of hyper silver apex arc-8's. I can't decide if I want to keep these or sell and purchase hyper black, anthracite, or black. What color looks best with silver exterior?

Race and Hyper Silver can look great and very classy!

Anthracite or Black will give a bit more contrast and a more "aggressive" look.

Hyper Black is always a good choice for when you can't decide between a light or dark finish!

Small update, installed SPC rear camber arms and the KW V2's have settled.

Now running -3.0 camber in the rear and the previous rubbing has been minimized, funny only the passenger side rubs for the most part. Fenders are shaved. Would like to add a spacer upfront to even things out.

Wheel specs: ARC-8 18x9 et 30 front // 18x10 et 25 rear - Matte Bronze
Tire specs: Conti ExtremeContact Sport, 235/40/18 front // 275/35/18 rear

Sick stance, any accelerated inner tire wear with that camber?

First time posting, long time viewer of forum. Here is my current setup. After reading the recommended tire sizes I opted to try going a little meatier. Hoping to add more spacers in the rear to match the fronts.

Fronts must rub a lot? I have same wheels but with stiffer springs and 255/35/18 Pilot super sports and had to do a lot of trimming to stop the rubbing in front.

A bit at full lock. I had to cut out a bit of the fender liner and remove the oil cooler vent. The tires rubbed the shock a little which is why I put the 3mm spacer up front. The rears still need a bit of work in order to add a larger spacer. I will be shaving the inner lip off and relocating the fender tab as a fender roll did not help very much.

Yeah I found the rear fenders are impossible to roll like a normal fender, you either have to slowly work the roller and "pull" the fender or cut it back.

The meaty fitment certainly looks great! Keep us updated on what it takes to solve the rubbing. We typically recommend a 245/40-18 at the tallest if trying to get more sidewall vs a 255/35-18.

I had searched every page of the forums prior to going with 255/40 and decided to just pull the trigger and make it fit. I wanted to be square with a meatier look and I did not think the 35 would have the appearance I was hoping for. I have a bit more work to do but i believe Ill be able to shave the rears down and relocate the rear bumper tab to fit a 13mm spacer in the rear to match the fronts. Wish me luck! I will reply once I figure it all out.
