I could, but mostly just for fun. And also for a tire inflator, my right rear wheel needs to be replaced and I don't have the funds to do so right now.

Question for the class:
I've acquired an n54 oil filter housing, oil thermostat, hoses, and oil cooler radiator (along with all the dang screws, nuts, etc.) I plan to install and mount it on my e91. I'm under the impression that it should be largely plug and play once I drop the bumper. I've also sourced the wheel well vent for the n54 and will cut my wheel well and mount it. The question I have is: how do I push air into the thing? My e91 stock bumper has a fog light and an air duct headed to the brake area. I can dremel a portion out of it to add airflow into the general cavity in front of the cooler, but don't see much else in the way of options. Full disclosure - I don't need a race car tier solution, this mod is largely intended as belt and suspenders over the engine's existing ability to manage oil temperature via the water pump/radiator. That said, I don't want to just seal the thing up inside the engine bay, either! Here's a thread where I've seen this done before: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1435804 |

Cleaned and conditioned the seats with chemical guys leather cleaner and conditioner kit. Also, did a quick vacuum.
Not a fan of the glossy conditioner but hopefully by tomorrow morning the seats aren't as glossy. Thought about cleaning the carpet with a hot water extractor in the summer but the carpet looks new. I'd say the condition of the interior is a 9.5/10. What do y'all think? |

^^ that looks really good, man. Great work!
Oh, one other question - if I just decide to swap the bumper and want ducting for brakes, cooler, and fogs - what are my best options? I'm likely to paint the car some time next year anyway. |

I think you could leave your stock brake air duct in place if you don’t use the duct for the cooler. |

Got a nice deal on a 36k mile driveshaft and bought it to put it in the E92 and see if I'll ever be able to go smoothly over 80mph
Also found out my issues connecting to modules other than DME and EGS in the E46 are not due to software but to the fact that bmw had an OBD2 port for only those 2 and then a 32 pin connector under the hood for everything else in early cars.. and just now I find out about this. I thought it was either or. Just bridged the 32 pin and now have full ISTA and PaSoft functionality to diagnose the million codes in the car I didn't know about.

Well, it was only a matter of time…
138k on the original injectors. Cylinder 3 misfire. Swapped coils, misfire remained on cylinder 3. Injector time . Global Imports had the injector in stock, $350 for one of them (including decoupling elements). Update: Hope it’s not multiple injectors. Oddly swapping cylinder 2 and 3 coils resulted in a code for a misfire on cylinder 5? Weird. Also, as the weather has warmed up today the misfire is gone. Very odd. Will still install the injector in cylinder 3, though. I’ve has an SES from that cylinder before, which I thought was due to excess oil from filling a qt (and which went away). Sounds like it might’ve been have been the injector the entire time... Last edited by Hoody007; 11-08-2021 at 09:12 AM.. |

Additional question: I replaced my air filter yesterday and noticed my charcoal filter is pretty old + dirty. How do I replace that? It seems very similar to the stock box. That said, have the BMW performance intake, which my complicate matters.
The charcoal filter is not listed here: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=03_0223 |

I cut it out. I've never smelled anything from the intake after. make sure you don't leave anything at the edges to get sucked into the intake. |

Interesting... ok.
The euro box I have doesn't appear to have a charcoal filter at all. After owning all three: stock, euro, bmw perf - the euro is probably the best bang for the buck and is by FAR the easiest on maintenance. |

Correct, the Euro intake/box does not have a charcoal filter. Just the cone style filter. And I agree with you on the 3 different styles
