Another update, housing and rest of the kit is on the way as of today. My goal is to have it installed by February 6th but we will see what happens. We're very close

It's about that time, tracking says turbo will be here tomorrow. Install starts immediately so should be done Monday/Tuesday. N55 Single Turbo here we come

It's installed on currently on a base 91 tune. Feels absolutely incredible and we havent even adjusted the tune yet. Couldn't be happier with Silicon Valley Bimmer they did an amazing job, oh and the sound? WOW..

Any other turbo choices? The precision turbos may not be the most reliable choices out there. Any way to upgrade to efr units?

looks awesome brother! Do you have to mod the engine mounts, reroute coolant pipes, remount the water pump and etc for this kit similar to other stage 3 turbo kits?

My main concern with moving up from a PS2 to stage 3 is the rerouting and moving around of OEM parts location. BMW engineers have placed those components at their locations for specific reasons. When you move things around, i feel that reliability would be compromised.

Also interested in any supporting modifications required or any changes made to compete this install. Also what tune you are running.

Not a lot of them out there brother. Talking with DocRace, this is among the only E92 N55 top mounts in California and far less than 100 in the U.S. Has it been on the website? Sure, but does that mean it's been bought? Nope. Product details says "coming soon" for crying out loud. I dropped 10k just to be different, don't come here to try and discredit me

First not your brother.
Second how did I discredit You? All I said they had the option on there website one year ago for n55. And that's good to hear you are one of the first with single top mount n55 from docrace, hope all goes well for you.

Working with Justin from Twisted to get on ethanol, bought an electronic boost controller so we can up it a bit. Been beating on it pretty hard past couple days and no issues. Very happy with it so far

No one is worried about blowing your internals clean out of their cylinders? How much power can these N55's handle without opening the block? speedtech has 750 whp on one of their cars and says it drives fine

Not too sure of the limits of the block, but I think the 6AT will go before it what do you think? Either way I'm gonna get the motor completely built and swap a manual into it at some point so let's push the limits!
