Interior Light Problem/Bug

Hey guys,

I have an interior light problem that is really annoying and I can't figure it out for a while now.

-The headlight switch buttons/markings (Markings: 0, Auto, DRL, I) are only shining when the switch is on 0 (Headlights are off) and are not shining when I turn on the actual light.
-The radio (BMW Professional) button lights are not shining at all

I have noticed this after I had some work done on the front left and rear left door (They had to take the door off off the car).

Things I have checked:

-Battery checked - it's good
-Alternator checked - it's good
-All jacks that were unplugged were checked - all good
-Fuses checked - all good
-Footwell Module (Light Control Module) checked - it's good

The only thing I found on the internet while digging this up is on this forum and all the same, was happening to this guy, he resolved the problem by replacing the LED dome light with a normal bulb, I found out that I have a LED dome light also, which I didn't even notice, so I replaced it with a normal one but it didn't solve the issue.

Any ideas? Thanks

Try to remove the front and back left door connectors between the doors and the car, and check if the issue still occurs.

I haven't tried that. I will definitely give it a try, thank you.
