Have an issue - need help e92 headlights

So i have this problem:

Water got into the headlights after i power washed the car (prior owner took to a shop and had inside of light coated black -shitty sealing job apparently) So both lamps went out and nothing worked.

Opened it up over weekend and every module was damaged (Xenon control, Xenon control unit, LED module, bulbs, etc.)

Shop quoted around 2200 per headlight/modules so total cost about 4400 thats with labor. Online the headlights come with no modules, and there are some AM ones that come as kit for 2500 total L and R but missing few modules. What should i do, i cant seem to find a e92 LCI used one anywhere.

Try a BMW specific recycler. I assume you have already searched on ebay.

Here's one possible vendor. A google search will show additional ones.

Those modules are available used but still pricey. I had a replace a headlight and the prices were (used reconditioned) for one module $200 and another $500 and the light housing $600. So $1300 total for used parts!

Mine was handled by my body shop and they sourced the parts through their normal supply chain. I’d be surprised if you ebay’ed and googled the part numbers that you couldn’t get that same pricing. Then after install you have to code the modules. At least that’s what they told me lol
