Which suspension do I have?

I have a 06 325i and it needs new rear shocks. How do I know if i have the sport or standard suspension? What are the differences between the two? Thanks!

Check out bmw VIN decoder online. You’ll see your option packages.

Plug your VIN into a decoder and look for S226A package (sports suspension). I like to use this decoder: https://www.bmwvin.com/

If you can get under the car you can also check the codes on the springs. The front springs have a sticker that might not be there anymore, but the rear codes are printed onto the springs and should still be visible. Non-sport springs are C# while sport springs are D# (eg D5 front, D4 rear)
