Alrighty I'll organise BMW stickers for you Jeff.
Everyone else, I don't think we can apply stickers. Have a look at the 'contours' of the stock N52 caliper, not particularly sticker friendly. |

Realised that my stock brakes are already painted in 'Sparkling Graphite Metallic'. Nice and subtle, but I'll still rock the gold for more effect.

Paint has been ordered (he was out of stock of the black so +1 week to delivery time) so should be here next week... are we still gonna swap back wheels tomorrow night?
I haven't ordered stickers yet... can't be bothered sorting that out yet lol so we'll just figure that out later. |

gold - myself and jeff red - yenni and e90poster I've forgotten your username black - sbc and cruvon hubs only - mo3 while doing calipers you have the option of painted hubs (who wants black, who wants silver?) for a few $ extra to cover the materials. |

Hey
Just for the record, I did my calipers with the twin epoxy product from the states last week. Whilst initially a bit concerned that the result would look a little krass, I thought I'd try the red. Must say the result was exactly what I was looking for. Very smooth, ultra high gloss, certainly no brush marks (although I chucked the brush supplied and invested all of $8 in something a little higher quality than that of the bodgy looking thing that was supplied). After reading these posts and tin instructions, I decided to halve the contents into a small steel can and paint two initial coats day 1, then two more coats the following day. Still had a bit left over! I'll get a couple of pics up if anyone interested, but must say again, totally happy with the result. Very high quality product. |
