Passenger lock doesn't work with key/center button. How do I check fuses etc.

I've recently purchased a 2011 328i, the previous owner had just replaced the battery and he mentioned that ever since he did that, the lock hadnt been working on the passenger door.
I want to first check the fuses and see if it's as simple as that but this is my first bmw and all I know about the fuses is where they're located.

I'd appreciate some help on how to go about checked if it's a blown fuse for a door lock that isn't working.

There’s no individual fuse for each door.
Does the door latch make any noise?

Yes, I can push it down to lock, and pull handle to release and there IS an unlock/lock sound

The latch/actuator is bad.
Replace it before it fails entirely and keeps the door from opening.

I would suggest you get some diagnostics if you are going to hang
onto this car and DIY.
IstaD and BMW standard tools with a K/D can cable or
bimmergeeks pro tool.

General information in the attached file.

Also there are many sub forums here that address specific parts of
the vehicle that are highly useful as well as a lot of how to ytubes.
