I'm guessing because he's selling them and doesn't want to get sued or be liable if one of you gets pulled over and get a ticket for colored headlights. If he says off road use only if you use it on road you're not following the "manufacturers directions"

Wait.... so are those 'colored headlights' illegal? That sucks... They arent even the headlights. They are... rings. Not headlights...

I'm pretty sure colored lights are illegal, well, certain colors. Yellow foglights are fine so I'd guess yellow angel eyes would be too. Blue and Red are definitely gonna get you in trouble, wouldn't want people thinking your cops. Dunno how the laws are written and they're probably different in each state. I'd check before I changed them to be sure though.

LONG! Make sure people do NOT think you're sending them four actual glass rings or two headlight units. Make it perfectly clear that you are JUST sending them COLORED GLASS FILTERS or w/e, and that they need to ALREADY HAVE the OEM angel eyes on their cars.

Just trying to save you some potential trouble from misunderstandings down the road. That said... thanks for having us board members' backs.

Long... do you accept paypal? I can paypal you the money. If you can also let me know how you removed your headlight housing. Does it require your bumper to be removed?

PM me with the details please. Thank you.

I want it....my only concern is how easy it is to install.
Also, will the colour change after long time?

bavarian: You wanna do a group install I am interested in this mod, but there's no way I can DIY it alone.... just give me the word and I'll order a set... Hmmm thinking yellow or white

P.S. : By group install, I'll do more than watch this time...

That's a great idea. We should have a mini-meet (drinks, some burgers and dogs) and then do the install.

I was thinking about that!! i.e. coinciding/combining the PMB install with a DC area meet...gives peeps more incentive to come out I personally lack any semblance of DIY skills, but would be willing to get my hands dirty with the right supervision...e90poster Bavarian19 is pretty handy with his DIY projects...
