best chip for 335i
I wanted to get my 335i chipped and have seen a few but am not sure what is reliable and all that. I was leaning towards the dinan chip for the sole fact that I dont have to worry about voiding any warranties. Any thoughts?

Prepare for everyone to rage and hate on Dinan.... Most people suggest Cobb for a tune that is easily removable. JB and procede are both good. Search the forums for the good and bad of each tune.

The only way to "chip" your car would be with a rock...

I think OP has a 2011 335i judging from his username..so this is in the wrong section.
Regardless..assuming its an N55, JB4 all the way for the sole reason Vishnu has been focused on other projects...this could change eventually of course. (and I hope it will..c'mon Shiv, give N55ers that turbo upgrade!) |

If you are Baldwin Park, FL not Balwin Park, CA, I can show you how fast my Procede car is, although it's probably not a fair comparison as I'm FBO+meth+N54.

Dinan is overpriced and underperforms, I would suggest looking into the Cobb, Vishnu, or JB4
You COULD void your warranty with any tune, Dinan products come with there own warranty that replaced the factory one. |

As already stated in here the Dinan warranty is not the BMW factory warranty, they match the terms but once you buy Dinan you have the Dinan warranty now, not BMW.
The performance of the Dinan is horrible....if your going to do it go with cobb, jb4 or procede. But since your a n55, you may want to look in the n55 section. No one makes a "chip" for the 335

The healthest chip would be Sun Chips. I know there might be better chips if you go to Whole Foods. Please do your research on Chips.. What flavor chip do you like? Maybe we can help you with more info.

It really depends, if your car is an N55, you probably want to go with a JB4. If it is an N54 you can take some time and search around. Cobb does have the ease of install and uninstall and a nifty handheld
