IF he was with her he should know also. I really feel sorry for some of you guys, your wife is what you should be writign about not your car, or at least not the way you put it. If it was me I would have jsut wrote a topic saying how do you get vomit out? Your wife is the best thing you will ever have bro, you should treat her better. no matter if she was drunk or just sick, you should console her and tell her its ok. I can assure you she feels bad about the car if she knows how you are with it. My wife would be very upset and if I commented it would make her feel worse. ok enough of that.

Cleaning up vomit at 1:30AM pretty much sounds like coming home from the bar or club with drunk ass wife to me. I would be pissed too.
I would have to imagine if she was ill or even worse pregnant the guy would be understanding but, if she was just irresponsible and did it to herself there's no real reason to be nice about it. |

I suggest you do some searches in the Car wash sub-forum and figure out how to get rid of certain problems. Haven't heard of the coffee beans before (tho I love coffee so a coffee smelling car wouldn't be too bad lol) but picus (resident detail guru) has also suggested using baking soda powder on the carpet to get rid of the odors. As for other parts of the car, yea do some searches and perhaps on the http://autopia.org/ forums... can even find a local detailer there too. *edit: awww he called her "wifey"

My wife will be fine.. After I sat with her til 4am I went out and cleaned up most of my car after...
She only had 3 drinks and she seemed fine.. and most of it went out the window, the rest on the inside of the door and the side of the seat/floor by the door. I've only seen my wife get sick one other time in 6 years.. it's not like we are total partiers.. shit just happens I guess.. I need to try some of the suggestions to get the smell out.. Coffee huh? |

This forum has given the OP a chance to vent his frustration in a way that won't have a negative impact on his marriage. We should empathize with him and not give him grief about his prioritites.

Always carry an old grocery plastic bag in your glove compartment. Simple but effective for 'accidents'
