E93 335i 2007 error code p2e18

Is there anyone out there that knows for sure what problem is giving this code P2e18 please.

bit of back ground.

had a code P29cd so replaced the coil packs and plugs. i'm running a Cobb stage 1 aggressive stock map. i replaced mosfet chips about 3 months ago.

seemed to run ok but now i'm getting that code.

any thoughts?

Nick

thanks for the reply Smokey, sorry for the reply i need to set up notifications.

i've sorted the issue, seems after fixing new plugs and coils when i was out road testing and putting the Cobb map back on bank one coil lead popped out causing the obvious misfire.

i re-seated all the leads and its running sweet again, although decided to run a softer map for a while.

you could help with something though i'm having a mission with what power steering fluid to get.. looked in halfords there's 50million types lol

No idea on the fluid sorry.

These cars are quite picky once there tuned, on plugs and the gap. Make sure you get the right plugs and eldor coils.

I changed my plugs and coils 2 years ago and not had a misfire since then. Running 450bhp.

I believe all 335i use Pentosin CHF 11s, there should be a green sticker on top of the reservoir
