MOST Distribution Block - Fiber removal problem

Working on adding a MR12Volt adapter for Bluetooth and have run into a problem at the MOST distribution block. I am trying to move the fiber cables and I cannot get the cables out of the inactive block to move them to the active block. All of the instructions simply say "use a small screwdriver to pry out the fiber cable. I tried that with the first cable and all that happened was the screwdriver pried out what appears to be parts of the first plastic ring of the connector around the fiber. What is the trick to getting these *&*^%&*& fibers out of the block.?

Somewhere in the middle of this video.

Thank you very much! I was able to run the video full screen on my PC and stop/start through the section where you remove the fibers and see how it is done. This morning I was able to remove the sets of fibers for the CD Changer and Sat radio from the inactive block and insert them into the active block moving the radio(the only fiber pair in the block) and set up the loop. I but a loopback connector on the sat radio connection in the rear section of the wagon for now and connected the CD Changer fibers to a MR12Volt BT adapter. Recoded the VO for the CD changer using Protools and BT is now working! Without your help this would have been a major challenge!

You should take the segment where you take out the fibers and combine with some stills talking about what you are doing and post as a How-to. I bet there are many other current and future newbies like me, that don't understand the standard instruction of "Using a small screwdriver remove the fiber"

A lot of this stuff is available is you just do a wider search on the interweb.
I would load up on as much as you can find from this site on the coding boards.
BMW is starting to stifle a lot of the stuff that was free here.
You want a working copy of Standard Tools and Ista D at least.
There is more stuff that should be in stickys but it's hard to get that going.

I have posted a lot of links on the stereo too many times to count.
