Fix Hole in FMIC Silicone Boot?

Does anyone have a good temporary solution to repairing a hole in a silicone boot? Somehow I have a tear in the silicone boot/elbow on my VRSF FMIC outlet side. It's not huge but will something like high-heat silicone tape wrapped around keep boost pressure?

The elbow/boot is backordered on the website and need a temp solution.

If it's just temporary, I'd give it a few wraps of duct tape. Not sure how it will handle extended heat, but it doesn't have to last long. If it fails, you're no worse off than you are now.

I actually have a bike pump that I accidentally sliced through through the hose with a utility knife when opening it up brand new from the packaging (freakin' bone-head move, what an idiot...). But I wrapped it good with duct tape and almost 10 years later it's still leak free.
