indeed. Harold please keep me informed on this, as I am needing to replace my girl's blown out H&R coilovers with something a little less harsh, but still keep the lowered look that Im going after.

There is plenty of travel as long as you don't lower the car too much and when you do lower(not slammed to the ground) the car make sure you properly increase the spring rates.

AST may be offering fully threaded body front struts for adjustable install heights to gain back the lost compression travel in the near future.

I called swift and was told they are two months out. I had them on my EVO and can say they make a quality product (not slammed) and really seem to do their homework.

I definately would like a set for my 335is though I am considering H&R as well. I want no more than an inch max and I have yet to see any springs that will give me a mild drop of 1" or less so Swift may be the ticket.

If anyone has lowered their 335is and can advise their experience please speak up..

since u have a 335is, ur already on the sports suspension... so if ur only looking to drop 1" or less, pretty much any aftermarket spring right now (there are a ton out there) will do that for u. basically, anything besides the h&r race and eibach sportlines.

I have Swifts on my 370Z and they are absolutely amazing. Not even the slightest degradation in ride quality. That good.

I have faith the E9x springs will be just as good. I need something for my girlfriend's 335 Coupe for early next year (praying there's an xi version). Here's hoping.

I am sure the community would rather have Swift take their time to get it right, then to hurry them along and have a less than ideal product.

can u do a koni fsd (or bilstein) damper + swift springs combo?
F336/ R672

I don't care for adjustability as there's prob just 1 ideal rebound rate for given set of springs (IMHO, feel free to correct me)

The KW V3 + Swift springs combo sounds really ideal but thats just way above my budget

Unfortunately, it's not possible, because of the "factory style" struts in front. It is possible to cut the lower perch off with a die cutter, and install a sleeve... also, Koni sells a version of their Yellow with no factory perch, for threading yourself or you can install a sleeve. This is how HPA made its Koni single-adjustable kit.

Also, those shocks you refer to won't work with such a high rate front spring. The rear is getting up there too. Not likely to work. You can custom valve either the Bilstein monotubes, or the Koni Sports (not FSD though AFAIK) to match to those springs. Bilstein will do it for you for like $150. But, the factory perch is in your way so best bet is to wait for the sport springs, or blow your budget and get adjustable struts that take race springs.

Yes, I can do a Koni FSD in a coilover setup with Swift springs. However, you will be limited to a 280F and 560R on the FSD's because the softer rebound valving on these.

Koni Sport Yellow with Swift spring is at the same cost as the Koni FSD plus and minus a few dollars. Yellows can handle 336F and 672R without a problem and all components are good in stock.

There is no cutting required, everything presses on and off, even the spring perches.

We don't buy any special versions for the sleeve-over coil overs for the HPA SA, it's just the regular Koni Sport Yellow.

OK, thanks for correcting me. I had seen a perchless strut in the Koni catalog and just assumed you used it.
