cool seeing everyone again even though i went to the wrong spot and waited for like 30 minutes. Anyways it woulda been nice if i had the chance to come back but as soon as i got home i just knocked out, since i had such a long day at school...midterms are kicking my ass.

After grabbing a bite to eat with PunjabiM3 and d23, we went to Main Street in old Downtown Bellevue for a few shots. I'm still messing around with settings and stuff. Also, this is just a JPEG, so there is basically no processing on it. I also cut the resolution and size down so I could be lazy and just upload it here. I guess I need a Flickr account or something.....

Pretty funny, but he wasn't that bad all things considered. The guy is just doing his job. I say cut the guy a little bit of a break.

ericsmc83 and I were there at 3:15 PM until the big break up a little after 8:00 PM. In that time, we interacted with the security 6 times, with the 7th being Sgt. Smith. I spoke with the one security woman twice, and she said the shift sergeant is a bit of hard-ass (Army, not Marines for those wondering.)

But anyway, that was 7 times they could have asked us to leave, but they didn't until the end (when the group was the largest.) It probably would have been OK too except for the cameras being out. The first time the security woman came around, she said the cameras were a problem.

Anyway, I've got the contact info for mall management, and if we want to make this a semi-regular thing for the nicer months (like every Tuesday or Wednesday @ 7:00 PM from May to October for example), I'll call them and see if they would be cool with it.

i think he was a bit of a douche regardless, but i totally get your point. if we play nice, maybe we can meet there regularly. the mall people might even be okay with that, but i bet they still have a 'no camera' rule which would totally suck. anyway, thanks for looking into this for us.

I agree. It's such a nice spot, and it's also central to pretty much everyone. The camera restriction would be the big IF, I guess.
