No, but the sensors were mounted on front and rear control arms, differential and drive shaftand did not show any vibration. It had the same vibration with summer tyres

I'm sort of having a similar issue on my car as vladmury, already changed rear guibo and rear shocks without results.
Going to check my front guibo and driveshaft cb this weekend and I'll get back here as soon as I find out something.

Please explain what exacty this vibration tool is, because I've tried to find any information about this but couldn´t find much.

I'm feeling vibration in the center of the vehicle (and a little bit in the rear), just under the front seats and in the accelrator pedal, no vibrations in the stearing wheel.

And it´s not the tires or rims, I´ve excluded those already and also the auto since I´m having the same vibrations in Neutral or if I change gears while coasting.

It´s sort of a "rumble strip" vibration as vladmury is explaining he has, mine is most pronounced at around 50mph and 75mph, but i can feel a slight vibration starting at around 35 mph up until very high speeds and it gets more pronounced when I let of the gas. (Sort of intermittend)

That sounds exactly as my issue, the workshop used the following tool, it has couple of sensors and the leds will show where vibration is coming from.

In my case it showed nothing

http://svj-sensors.com

I considered buying the app developed for finding the vibrations , but the price is quite high

Checked my front flex disc and center bearing, everything looks fine, I'm confuced, was betting on any signs it would be there.

Found a free app for diagnosing vibrations ;

I agree it's not that good! Going to order me a new front guibo and while I'm at it I'm going to replace the center bearing as well in the following weeks, I'll report back here as soon as Im done.

Well they told me it could also be them, but I´m not a strong believer because the vibrations then would not be intermittend like mine.

Can someone pls tell me how I turn on notifications for replys on posts?

I am looking forward to read a few updates from you.

Would be awesome if you report back what your solution was.
Although I answered to a similar thread, your symptoms 3 or 4 posts above are exactly the same as mine and I have no solution yet :-/

I have no solution neither for now rather than removing the driveshaft and balancing it . Or buy the app which might show where the vibrations cone from.

On a 200 mile motorway trip today I suffered a bad vibration 3 seperate occasions. It only lasted a couple of minutes each time and the disappeared which makes me think it could be a stick calliper on the rear.

I’m going to investigate further next week when I ge5 back from my trip and then I will report back.

One additional item to check if you're experiencing a vibration coming from the rear, the parking brake.
I haven't seen it mentioned yet and I made the mistake once of adjusting it slightly too tight. Anything over 40 mph felt like rumble strips.

I’m 100% sure now it a sticky rear calliper for me. Off side rear wheel was red hot after a long drive. Rebuild kit ordered 👍

I have been having this problem since 90k miles. I am now over 120k miles years later but the problem is still there. All these jack off mechanics tell me its rotors, tires or balance. But the problem has lasted through three sets of tires of different brands. Three sets of rotors of different brands. Tired of paying these jack off diagnostic fees then arguing with them that its not warped rotors.

I have a loud droning noise at high speeds on the highway with a fast small vibration throughout the car. If you put a cup in the cup holder it will just vibrate like crazy.

Well have you replaced your wheels or had them tested for runout or balance on their own?

The droning and small vibrations sounds like wheel bearing to me.. I just had the Left rear replaced. Quiet now.

I also have this issue.

Inlcuding, when I brake medium hard, as I'm close to a stop my front wheels make a dolphin noise, like air is escaping my pads/rotors contact but I cant find any issues. I'll need to check wheel bearing and all the jazz here.

The dolphin noise is embarrassing as f**k at stop signs...
