Installing quad exhaust on an n55
I'm trying to put on an ae exotics exhaust with quad tips. There's this metal bracket that holds on the rear diffuser in the way. I can just barely get it to fit in there but it seems like it's sitting too high because the exhaust hanger won't fit. Will anything bad happen to the diffuser if I cut the bracket off?

you may have to put in a different kind of bracket in a different way so that it doesn't make noise or damage anything. but I personally would chop it off instantly and make sure everything functions/is held in place properly

I don't follow the problem based on what you said and that picture alone. In the future please resize the photo so it isn't so cumbersome to look at.

The trouble is it's welded on there so I would have to get a welder to put a different one in.

Sorry if it wasn't clear but the bottom of the exhaust tips are hitting on that metal bracket on the left side of the exhaust and cant go down enough. Does that make more sense?
