Annoying double beep noise
Hello,
For some weeks with my E92 325d model year 2008, I had a strange double beep noise mostly at speed below 50 km/h. It does not originate from the radio, I have tried with the radio disconnected. Here is a small video with the noise: Hope someone can help to get rid of the noise. br Erik |

Yeah that like is worthless. If you can pin point a link in that link then go ahead but there is no help there. One thought is an aftermarket alarm installed.. Did you just get the car?

I have had the car for 2 1/2 years.
According the documentation I got with the car, an original BMW alarm system was installed by April 2008, about 5 months after leaving the factory. Bimmer.work indicates a 302 alarm system. Now it sometimes beeps shortly after engine stop. Last edited by henneberg; 07-24-2021 at 01:03 PM.. |

Theres a kick panel under the steering wheel with an emergency speaker in it. The panel is easy to drop, unplug this and see if issue resolves. I know this is not a fix but will point you to a cause. The speaker will throw a code for being unplugged (no check engine light). Thats my guess..

hi, I tried to pull the alarm system fuse, but still no success ( still beeping )
Under the kick panel I found no speaker, that could provide the beeps. I seems like the beeping comes from center or passenger side ! |

Tunafish, so you went thru all the links on the link I sent, and they are all worthless?
That said, you must have a lot of free time, but you missed the point of my post, which is that a poster needs to search before posting. |
