My new 335xi coupe's progress:

3/27: "In production, estimated completion 4/1"
3/28: "In body shop, estimated completion 3/31"
3/29: "In paint shop, estimated completion 3/31"
4/1: "Vehicle production complete, waiting to be released to carrier"
4/3: "Released to carrier, awaiting transport to port of exit"

I live on the east coast (Washington, DC) and will take delivery in Spartanburg, SC.

Do you think my car will make it on the 4/11/08 WWL departure (Boheme)???

yes it should - only take a day or 2 to get to port

THere is also a boat leaving on the 9th that your car might make if it hurries up and gets to the port soon.

Car got in the dealership this AM, talked to my CA, sent to service for detailing, tint, mats and final inspection.....being shipped from Dallas to Austin.......hopefully get it tomorrow or Thursday at the latest!

My e93 was at the port as of last Friday (4/4), which boat is it likely to be on? Still showing "awaiting transport" on OC.

Tagus is going to NYC and Texas, not Cali so doubt your catching a ride on it

Bah, I'm probably going to drive myself nuts looking at this stuff. Meanwhile I've got a '67 GTO out in the garage that isn't going to finish putting itself back together (and will soon have a garage mate). Guess it takes whatever time it takes to get here. Will check with you all later.

I looked up NYK lines and didnt find any going to Cali.

For WWL I found the ISOLDE leaving 4/11 arriving 5/4 in PORT HUENEME, CA - that could be your boat.

Yeah, I just did the same lookup and that looks like it Streetfish - thanks once again. Looks like there is a NYK the next day, but the Isolde is going straight to Port Hueneme after going through Panama Canal so should be on that boat?

Looking like Mid-May before I can pick it up, which would be about a month. Not too bad considering I bought it right before 112 status 2 weeks ago.

Question, when do cars typically start showing up on WWL? I know there was a ship leaving either yesterday or today and my car has been waiting at the port since the end of last week, yet no indication it has gotten on a boat yet.

Bah, mine is not showing up on the site yet. It has been sitting at the port for almost a week now so I dont know what the deal is. I was hoping that I would catch the Tagus but maybe its getting on the Courage which leaves tomorrow.
